Check four essential compatibility points
Enter the specifications shown by the manufacturers. This quick check does not replace the exact CPU support list, BIOS version or product manual.
What this compatibility checker tests
The CPU and motherboard must use the same socket. The memory generation must match the motherboard, the power supply should provide comfortable headroom above estimated system draw, and the graphics card must physically fit inside the case.
Checks you should still complete
- Confirm the exact CPU in the motherboard manufacturer's support list.
- Check whether the motherboard requires a BIOS update.
- Verify cooler socket support and maximum cooler height.
- Confirm motherboard and power-supply sizes fit the case.
- Check power connectors required by the graphics card.
Why exact model numbers matter
Two products with similar names may use different memory, dimensions or power connectors. Always compare the complete model code and manufacturer specifications before ordering.
